Specifications and Product Details:

There are several specifications of BST® such as 200den, 400den,800den, 1200den, 1500den,1600den, 1800den and 22

00den etc., and the mean tenacity is over 35g/den. Generally, it has many performances as below:

1. High Tenacity. Pound for pound 15 times stronger than high quality steel, and 1.4 times than Aramid fiber.

2. High Modulus. >1200g/den, higher than any other fibers except Carbon Fiber.

3. Low Specific Gravity. 0.97 g/cm3, lighter than water, one of the lightest synthetic fiber.

4. Low Elongation. 3% only. Do not shrink in water.

5. High resistance to sunlight and ultraviolet light.

6. Excellent resistance to chemicals. No reduce in most chemicals solvent.

7. Good abrasion resistance.

8. Excellent cut resistance.

9. Excellent vibration damping performance.

10. High energy absorption, low dielectric constant, low friction, impact resistance etc.
