The Acrylic Flame-Retardant yarn (referred as FA yarn), made by the FA fiber from Formosa Plastics Corp. is a difficult-combustion product that has the characters of outstanding inherently self-extinguishing ability. After removed from the flame source, this material will create a char barrier that put out the fire without creating dangerous molten droplets, improving safety when wearing. The FA yarn can be blended with cotton, rayon, Formotex, and other fibers to increase its softness and moisture absorption ability. And with excellent stable property, its flame retardancy performance will not decrease after repeated washing or normal use over long period of time.
