“Sliver doubling controller”
On Draw frames (Like Cherry DX-500, Cherry D 400 MT and Toyoda DYH-500 C etc) there is no control to maintain number of doubling.
It can run with 7, 6 or even less than 6 slivers. Because the machine stops at sliver break but can runs without rejoining of sliver, i.e. the machine operation totally depends upon machine operator’s handling.
This fault causes following defects in yarn Quality,
1- Count variation, 2- In millange or fancy yarn, sliver missing cause shade variation. 3- Change in blending ratio of polyester and cotton on Breaker and intermediate Drawing passege.4-Efficiency loss in case of finisher with Auto leveler.
We install a doubling controler which will maintain the number of doubbling and will not allow the machine to run tuntil and unless the sliver piecing has been done and number of doubling has been completed.
