Specifications and Product Details:

Xinke Protective® is engineered to provide unbeatable electric arc and flash fire protection that

lasts twice as long as FR treated cotton fabrics. Yet our soft and lightweight fabric provides unmatched

comfort. It is also comforting to know that our fabric's inherent protection will never wash or wear out.

If you're not wearing protective work clothing made with TenCate Tecasafe® Plus fabric, demand it. Your safety may depend on it.

XINKE® provides rugged flame-resistant protection at the lowest cost per wear of any welding garment fabric. Surpasses FRT cotton in tensile strength, tear strength,

abrasion resistance and wicking ability. Higher resistance to molten slag and pin holes. Never needs ironing.

Protection That Works

Fire Resistant for the Life of the Garment is a guaranteed to put your mind at rest

When a garment is made to last.it should have features that assist in keeping it that way.

Blended into the DURAPLUS fabric is Odour and Bacteria protection including Insect Repellant that is 100% harmless to

humans and will not irritate or affect skin tissue .

New Generation Fabric

DURAPLUS is 20years in the making with blended technology making this fabric a leader in Fire and Arc Protection.

Made from 12% High Tenacity Nylon and 88% natural Cotton containing Carbon fibers woven it the fabric making it

permanent part of the fabric for the life of the fabric.

The mix of technology and quality fibers maximizes protection against Flash Fire and Electrical Arc exposure.

Soft Feel Comfort

DURAPLUS blended soft cotton gives a soft comfortable feel against the skin and assists in absorption or moisture.

The blended natural cotton fabric is Cool in summer and helps retain Warmth in cooler winter temperatures.

DURAPLUS feels soft when new, right from the start and prewashing is NOT required to wear garments.

Electric Arc

One of the bigger risks electrical workers encounter when working with live circuits is electric arc. An

electric arc is created through an accidental short circuit. The duration of the arc is short, but the effects

can be devastating. The electric arc acts like a powerful explosion, sending out a shockwave, molten metal

and highintensity radiant heat. This combination of elements can cause a worker's clothing to ignite or

melt instantly or cause the clothing to break open, resulting in severe skin burns.

Wearing the right flame resistant protective clothing will protect the worker from the thermal hazards

associated with electric arc incidents and minimize skin burns. Suitable fire-retardant materials provide crucial protection against electric arc in the following ways:

· By providing thermal insulation between the body and the heat source.

· Not igniting, melting or breaking open which seriously aggravates injuries.

NFPA and ASTM have established the following standard test methods and requirements for protection against

electric arc incidents:

· NFPA 70E requires that general electrical employees wear clothing that meets the requirements of ASTM F 1506.

· ASTM F 1959 and ASTM F 1891 provide test methods for how to calculate arc ratings. Indicating a fabric's resistance

to the incident energy caused by an electric arc incident.

Xinke Protective Fabrics provides a range of materials that meet and surpass the standard requirements for protection

from electric arc flashes.
