It is a polyamide-imide aramid fiber,does not melt or drip or form holes when exposed to flame; Kermel has a high strenght but light in weight; becoming static dissipative when blended with
antistatic fiber.
Widely used for protection in industry, fire service, police and army etc; It is popular used in flame retardant firefighter coverall, firefighter suits, military uniform and so on which need flame retardant and also anti-high temperature.

Features & Applications
Kermel fabric is a kind of a polyamide-imide aramid which is permanently flame and static resistant. It also offers certain protection against chemical spills. It has a high breaking and tear strength but extremely light in weight. Further treatment can give it extra features like sweat absorption and water repellence. As a PPE apparel material, Kermel meets safety standards like EN531 EN1149-1 and have been frequently used in industries, firefighting, airspace, millitary and energy sectors.
