Washing and Maintenance of Silk Quilt

First, you’d better choose hand washing and dry-washing, not machine washing! Silk composes of protein fibers which is very delicate, do not pay attention cause fluff, blur, when you washing should not rub hard. the silk products should first be soaked in clean water for 5 minutes, with a special silk detergent, synthetic low foam detergent or neutral soap and gently rub, then rinse in clean water. For the protection of quilt covers’ color, you can drip two or three drops of vinegar into another basin of clean water after you rinse neatly, soaked 5 minutes out.

Second, to dry out you should turn to the opposite, preferably in the shade, not to direct sunlight. Take down the quilt cover when most probably dry in order to keep the original color.

Third, without ironing, silk can be smooth out with hand when seven percent dry. If you choose to ironing, you can continue read it.
