Silk Basic Texture Function

1. Tenacity:

Natural silk is strongest of all natural fibres. Its capability for stretching is 1/3 as strong as the quality of steel wire under uniform conditions.

2.Moisture Absorption and Release:

Natural silk has 1.5 times the mouisture absorption and release qualities os pure cotton fiber. It breathes,allowing a release of dampness to keep bedclothes dry and comfortable.

3.Warmth Retention:

Natural silk floss consists of pockets within the fibre that absorb air to maintain user warmth.

4.Breatheability:

Natural silk can be made of extremely long and thin fibres.As a result,silk-filled quilts are light and able to breathe freely.

5.Fireproofing:

Natural silk is an excellent natural animal protein fiber.Even if set on fire,the combustion dose not produce a poisonous gas and does not burn easily.
